Part of a photography project with Joakim Eskildsen at Danmarks Designskole, we were to photograph our surroundings - a place that meant something to us. I shot my neighbourhood: the neighbours' frontyard, the playground, the metro. I was able to capture the essence of the area - one of slight mystery and surrealism - travelling no more than 1km from my house.
The project resulted in a hand-bound book entitled, "Sé, Registrér, Dokumentér", containing the works of thirteen students including themes ranging from death/life, sexuality, spying and box wars.
